Eg; Jazz scores lowly on this survey yet is a high-end black American art form. Amongst musicians, whether they like it or not, it is regarded as one of the most difficult styles to successfully perform, combining deep cultural knowledge, incredible instrumental skill and amazing creativity; improvising, composing on the spot. Now, true purveyors of this art form would have to have some understanding of the intricacies of jazz, so how could you infer that they’re dumb? I’m guessing your SAT doesn’t test musical intelligence.
