Iedereen kent Lego wel, de blokjes die je de mogelijkheid geven om alles te maken wat je maar wilt. Vandaag ben ik achter een paar leuke Lego-feitjes gekomen die op zen zachtst gezegd indrukwekkend zijn:
- Jaarlijks worden ongeveer 19 miljard blokjes geproduceerd. Per uur is dit 2,16 miljoen en per minuut zijn er dit 36000. Het productieproces is zo precies dat er per 1 miljoen geproduceerde blokjes slechts 18 zijn die als fout worden aanzien.
- Per mens zijn er ongeveer 62 Lego-blokjes in omloop.
- Meer dan 400 miljoen mensen hebben reeds met de blokjes gespeeld.
- Sinds 1949 zijn er meer dan 400 miljard blokjes geproduceerd. Dit is genoeg om de afstand tussen de aarde en de maan 10x te overbruggen.
- Het aantal Lego-blokjes dat per jaar verkocht wordt kan 5x rond de aarde.

i do think classical music is helpful for creative thinking, but Beethoven is not the only composer out there. if the study were accurate, other virtuosos like brahms, paganini or chopin would be present in the most listened to category for the highest scorers.
